Meet Matt Sass
Matt Sass is Jaeco Fluid Systems, Inc. National Sales Director. He is responsible for channel and project management, OEM development and customer service. Matt works closely with channel partners, specifying engineers, contractors and customers to engineer solutions for all of their chemical delivery challenges.
How Long Have You Been with JAECO?
I started with JAECO in January, 2014.
What Did You Do Prior to Joining JAECO?
Prior to joining JAECO I spent nearly 20 years working for a major publically traded pump manufacturer. My roles included Application Engineering Manager, Product Manager and Environmental Market Manager. My entire career has revolved around positive displacement and dynamic chemical metering and transfer pumps with a heavy emphasis on complete chemical feed system engineering and manufacturing.
What is your role with JAECO?
As National Sales Director I am directly responsible for growth of the organization. I work on developing and managing sales channels, developing new customers and supporting existing customers. Our focus is to provide customer service, quality and delivery above and beyond the expectation of our channel partners and customers.
What Makes the JAECO Product Different from Other Metering Pumps?
JAECO products are some of the most robust pumps and check valves in the market. Our products are designed and manufactured with the expectation that they might be installed outdoors on an irrigation system and be exposed to the elements year after year or in a wastewater treatment plant exposed to a chemical atmosphere. In addition our lead times are measured in hours and days in lieu of weeks and months. It is unique in the market to see pump orders ship the day they are placed.
What Is Your Favorite Part of Your Job?
Engineering complete turn-key chemical feed systems. At JAECO we have the ability to not only supply pumps and pumping accessories but integrate and manufacture entire systems including pumps, piping, instrumentation and controls. It is rewarding to solve not just a pumping application but to solve an entire process challenge through providing a complete integrated chemical system.
