Agricultural Plunger Pump Details
AGRI-PAK Plunger Pumps are engineered for agricultural applications where precise chemical feeding matters most. Positive displacement technology ensures consistent delivery.
Simplex and duplex models cater to different operational needs. Users can directly convert these pumps from simplex to duplex configurations in the field.
Manual capacity adjustment requires pump shutdown for safety and security purposes. We can automate the capacity using a variable-speed drive.
Simplex & Duplex Agricultural Plunger Pumps
JAECO AgriPumps are available in simplex and duplex models. Models have capacities ranging from 0.38 to 682 gallons per hour and pressures up to 7,200 psi. This extensive range ensures an AgriPump model suited to every agricultural requirement.
Simplex plunger pumps operate on a positive displacement mechanism, ensuring a consistent flow rate for accurate metering. This design eliminates the need for complex maintenance procedures.
Duplex plunger pumps have a field-convertible design, allowing users to switch between simplex and duplex modes. Different-sized pistons in these pumps enable precise control over chemical application rates, making them versatile for various agricultural tasks.
Most Simplex Hi-Flo pumps are ready to ship within three to four weeks of receiving your order. Duplex pumps typically take longer and ship within four to six weeks.
Pump Features
Features
- Available in simplex and duplex models, field convertible from simplex to duplex
- Positive displacement supplies a simple and virtually maintenance-free approach to accurate chemical feed.
- Pumps can run dry without pump failure.
- Operators can manually adjust the injection rate only when the pump is stopped. This safety precaution ensures tamper resistance and protects workers during adjustments.
- The rate of injection is adjustable for a turn-down ratio of 10:1
- Accuracy of ± .5% at steady state
- Single ball check valve, standard on both the suction and discharge side of the pump
- All closed-loop systems require a safety relief valve to prevent potential over-pressurization of the discharge line.
- Duplex pumps can have different size pistons
- Complete with single-phase or three-phase motor
- Additional motor options are available
- Epoxy painted
- Completely assembled on a base plate
- Fully tested
Sulphuric Acid/Infuric Applications
- For special applications involving Sulfuric Acid or Infuric acid, the recommended construction material is Alloy 20. Consult the factory for Alloy 20 material.

Motor Options
V-Belt Motor
It is ideal for applications where electricity is not readily available. You can run a V-belt motor via a tractor.
12V DC Electric Motor
This electric motor runs on 12-volt direct current, making it suitable for remote pumping applications.
Gasoline Motor
Gas-powered engines provide a reliable source of energy for areas that lack electricity.
Single or Three-phase Motor
This motor operates on either single-phase or three-phase electrical power. It’s suitable for remote applications with limited power access.

Agricultural Plunger Pumps FAQ
What is a metering injection pump?
The metering (injection) pump is the most essential part of the system because it controls how much of the applied product gets added to the irrigation water. With a metering pump, the injection rate per irrigated acre remains constant even if the flow rate or pressure of the irrigation water varies. The pump size depends on the amount of product you need to apply.
What is chemigation?
Chemigation is the addition of fertilizers or chemicals to your irrigation water to help your crops grow. Studies have shown that chemigation is the most economical and accurate way to apply these products to your field. It eliminates extra tractor passes and expensive equipment.
How quickly can you ship?
Most configurations and liquid end components are available from stock. As such, we can ship assembled pumps within 48 hours. We stock all parts for chemigation AgriPumps. This allows us to ship spare parts within 24 hours or less. We can ship the same day if you place your order before noon EST.
